Turku City Data participates in RESPONSE

We are happy to participate in the five-year EU program RESPONSE (integRatEd Solutions for POsitive eNergy and reSilient CitiEs) that aims to create a strategic vision for the shift towards climate neutrality by 2050. The program is based on intelligent, integrated and interconnected energy systems, combined with demand-driven urban infrastructures, governance models and services that promote energy sustainability. The lighthouse cities of the program are Dijon and Turku with their fellow cities Brussels (BE), Zaragoza (ES), Botosani (RO), Ptolemaida (GR), Gabrovo (BU) and Severodonetsk (UA).

The RESPONSE consortium is led by the European Institute for Energy Research (EIFER) in Germany, with the technical support of Center for Research and Technology, Hellas (CERTH) in Greece. The consortium consists of a total of 53 partners one of which is Turku City Data.

Our role in the program is to develop a Smart City Knowledge Graph that integrates all the urban and IoT data into a unified structure providing contextualized knowledge for advanced analytics and AI solutions.

The program started October 1, 2020.
